I hit the road at exactly 6:00 A.M. 20 miles or bust! Had all my fuel set, cool weather, properly dressed. And away I went. Everything was good until 15 miles. Then my right knee started to hurt. I can normally just alter the way I run, but not this time. I even stopped to stretch it out, but nothing helped. I just trotted along stopping occassionally to walk off the pain. I have no idea what was going on, but it sucked! I decided to cut the run short and just get home. I put in 17 miles in 2.5 hours. Not a bad time, but still disappointed that I didn't get my whole run in. Perhaps next weekend will be better. (crosses fingers).
