Hoofin it for 5 miles

Wednesday and Thursday were both 5 mile days for me. And on each occassion I pushed it. Not race pace, but I kept the HR up. Each day felt pretty good. The start was the most painful because nothing was warmed up yet, but after three miles I started to hit my stride and was able to kick it in. I like that part of the run. I just wish it started earlier and lasted longer. I really need to throttle that in on my long runs. Pacing myself at the beginning can be tough. I have my last 20 miler coming up this weekend and I want it to go well. 10 miles tomorrow and 20 on Sunday. The marathon is coming up quick!
