But when that gun went off I forgot about everything. There was no nervousness...just a rush. Swim! Swim fast! Stay on course. Get out of the water. Into T1. Find my bike while stripping off my wetsuit. Helmet on. Shoes on. Grab bike and off I go. Pedal fast. Don't draft. Off the bike. Into T2. Rack bike. Helmet and shoes off. Running shoes on. Legs feel like bricks! 3.1 miles. Super stiff. Feel VERY slow. Loosening up. Hear the crowds at the finish line. Sprinting now. There's the finish line! I'm almost there. I'm a triathlete!
