I think I scare them

...or it's just repulsion. Since I take the little one to dance on Thursdays I get to sneak my run in while she's in the studio. I've got an 1.5 hours to workout. Fortunately the schedule has me only running 5 miles on Thursdays. I get my run done in about 40 minutes. This let's me stretch out and scarf down a post workout shake. Of course, I'm still a sweaty mess when I walk back into the studio and I most likely smell less than appealing. The girls and mom's all sorts give me a lot of room. I get those polite smiles that say "I know you're doing a good thing, but DAMN you stink." I try not to touch anything and will go back outside to cool down. I bring a change of clothes that I put on after most of the sweating is done and I'm mostly dry. Now I can sit down and relax while Sarah finishes her class. This is the part where I'm just hangin with the moms. It's a hoot. They'll never make me a part of the conversation and I think that's a good thing. All they seem to talk about this the diets they're on. I smile politely thinking "I know you're trying to do a good thing, but GET ON A TREADMILL!"
