Motivation

It's too easy to say "It won't hurt to take just tonight off." And while it is true that quality recovery time is beneficial... it takes great descipline to stay on schedule, stay focused, keep with the program. But here's the funny part. If I don't stick with the program, if I start to lax on my workouts, I get depressed. I'm all bummed out, for no apparent reason. When I am working out hard and training my tail off, my mood is great! I'm happy, energetic and overall in a good mood! So, why do I even bother taking days off when I know I'll only regret it later? If anyone has any ideas I'll be glad to hear them. In the meantime, I'm going to focus on getting a good run in tonight...if it's not raining & thundering again.
