Getting on the plane with my parachute

I haven't made the jump yet, but I atleast took the first step. I had an interview yesterday with a company outside the auto industry. A glass company. The interview went well. I suppose it would have went better if my contact lense hadn't fallen out the minute I walked in the door. Not a good way to start. I spoke briefly with the manager who gave me a quick rundown of the company and it's operation. I then met with two of their engineers who got into the nitty gritty of what they do and asked me a collection of questions. We had some good dialogue going. The manager then gave me a tour of their facility and showed me each step of the processes. After this I met the president who spoke to me in length about his business, his philosophy on it and how he approaches compensating people. He impressed me quite a bit with his drive and passion for what he does. He really seemed to thrive on it. I was also impressed by his hands-on approach to his job. He's in there just like everyone else. It was good to see.
